7 Bleeding, Wound Care and Trauma
A simple and effective way to pad and build up around an object is to use a donut bandage. 1. Begin with a triangle bandage folded to 1/8 (4 times) to make a narrow bandage. 2. Starting with one end, wrap it around your fingers twice to make a circle slightly larger than you want the donut to be. 3. Begin threading the long end through and around the ring, moving in a circle. 4. Continue wrapping the ring until you reach the end of the bandage. 5. Tuck in bandage end to finish the donut.
